Thy Kingdom Come 2020

Thy Kingdom Come is a global movement of prayer that is supported by the Archbishops of the Church of England. Here in Deptford we are taking part in 5 different ways.

The five different ways of connecting in prayer this year our outlined on the video and described below:

1. Prayer Card – use the prayer points from our churches and chaplaincies as a focus for your prayers at home. Click to download the prayer card.

2. Prayer Walk – take some time to do a solo prayer walk in your parish – pray for the homes, streets, business, schools and churches in your community

3. Every Day Faith prayer videos. We have prepared 5 short videos with prayers led by members of our deanery focusing on: NHS, Schools, young people, Keyworkers, Self-isolating. Watch the video’s here (see below) or ask you church to send them to you via WhatsApp during the week.

4. Night Prayer. Wayne from S. Paul’s Deptford will lead us in 15 mins of contemplative prayer at 9pm Friday 22nd-Saturday 30th May. To join us for this prayer time on Zoom use this link:
