SoulFood is about eating together and getting to know each other from across the various churches. It’s about having time to eat a delicious meal and share a joke. It’s about creating community across the deanery – friendship, collegiality, lending a helping hand. It’s about realising that we’re part of something bigger.
SoulFood is also about worship – reflective, interactive, global, personal. We use songs from Iona, Taize and other sources from around the globe. It’s about singing and connecting with God through music and the power of the human voice. It’s about playing your part, engaging. It’s earthy and holy. Reverential and fun. It’s about connection. It’s about feeding your soul. Physically, emotionally and spiritually being nourished. It only happens once a year… don’t miss it.
